Wow!!!!!

Amazing news, we just received a check in the mail for our adoption for over $5,000!!! God must really want our little one home!!! That brings our current total up to $12,050! All I have to say is WOW and Thank you Lord!!

$15 for the 15th!

Our deadline of $4,950 is coming up soon. Only five days away!! We have $3,100 right now (wow!), that leaves $1,850 more in five days to our adoption agency. :) I've had bigger mountains to climb in the fundraising department. So for my birthday, which is also April 15th, would you consider donating $15 to help us bring our son home? Please, oh please?

Last homestudy visit

We have our final home study visit with our social worker tomorrow. Getting the house all nice and shiny for that now. :) We have some big things to talk about, but nothing of concern. It should go well. That means we should have a completed home study in a couple of weeks and we can progress with getting our dossier together to send to Eastern Europe! That's very exciting!

Oh yes, and we do need funds. Our first deadline is April 15 and we need around $3,500 more for it. God will provide, I just know it!

We are adopting!

If you haven't already heard, we are adopting! We are so excited. What a privilege to bring one of God's treasures into our family. We can't say who or where right now. Currently we are working on getting our homes study completed and getting the piles of papers together we need. We think we could have our little one home as early as July or August! We are also working on fundraising. We have around 5 months to raise around $20,000, yipee! We know God will provide though. How can we doubt Him? He has always provided for everything He has called us to in the past, how much more for one of His children to have a family?
